Credits and billing

Replicas uses a single credit balance to cover every workspace you run. Credits are used per-hour while a workspace is active, so you only pay for the time your agents and teammates are actively building.

Purchasing credits

  • Sign-up bonus: 20 credits to explore the platform with no commitment.
  • Developer plan: $35/month with 400 credits per billing period (roughly 200 hours on a Standard VM).
  • Additional credits: Subscribers can purchase credits on demand.
Credits reset to your plan’s allotment at the start of each billing period.

Choose the smallest VM that can compile, test, and run your stack comfortably. You can delete and recreate a workspace on a larger size if an agent needs more headroom.

Workspace lifecycle

  • Active: Workspaces consume credits per hour while running.
  • Sleeping: After 1 hour of inactivity, workspaces automatically enter sleep mode. No credits are consumed while sleeping.
  • Permanent deletion: Sleeping workspaces are permanently deleted after 24 hours (Hobby plan) or 72 hours (Developer plan).
Credits are charged per hour, rounded up. For example, running a workspace for 30 minutes costs the same as 1 hour. Questions about billing? Email [email protected].
