Credits and billing

Replicas uses a single credit balance to cover every workspace you run. Credits are used per-hour while a workspace is active, so you only pay for the time your agents and teammates are actively building.

Included credits

  • Sign-up bonus: 20 credits to explore the platform with no commitment.
  • Developer plan: $29/month and 400 credits added to your balance on renewal. This provides roughly 400 hours on a Standard VM.
Unused credits roll over within the same billing cycle. Top-ups will be available soon, with Developer users having preferred rates.

Choose the smallest VM that can compile, test, and run your stack comfortably. You can delete and recreate a workspace on a larger size if an agent needs more headroom.

Usage tips

  • Delete idle workspaces after merging changes, as credits only burn while the VM is active.
  • Treat workspaces like disposable environments. Keep source of truth in Git, sync secrets with replicas.json, and rehydrate as needed.
