Snapshots capture a workspace’s full state (dependencies, builds, databases, everything) so you can reuse expensive setup work without repeating it. Ideal for large repositories, complex toolchains, or slow dependency installs.
Find the workspace you want to preserve (one that’s fully set up with dependencies, builds, etc.).
Click the Snapshot button.
The snapshot enters a pending state and becomes available once complete. Large snapshots can take up to 15 minutes. Do not delete the original workspace until the snapshot is available. Deleting early cancels the capture.
